So here's a question. If a character had a possible crush on another character and that character has died in the series should the person be listed as possibly crushing or single?

Just curious, has there ever been a category for deceased characters from Yuripedia?

There are surely some characters that some people think could meet the critera, but in fact don't (either because they don't really show Yuri feat or their main love interest is a male).

So i was thinking maybe it would be nice to have a list of disallowed characters and a little explanation on why this character don't qualify so that user knows that these characters are not yuri and are not tempted to create their page (only to have it deleted).

So I was wondering if Naoko Mifune and Chiyomi Ogawa from Tomo-Chan Is a Girl! should be added to this wiki. Those two are constantly blushing around her, and looked like tomatoes when she hugged them.

Since it released, Whispering You a Love Song/Whisper Me a Love Song has been one of my very favorite yuri manga’s (p.s, you should go check it out 🫰). Update the page! I’m not the greatest at editing wiki pages, but if I was, I, of course would contribute to it. Though since I don’t have that skill, could somebody please fix it up. I did fix the link to Himari Kino’s page and her age, but I’m clueless on the rest.

I'm Malachi, please call me Mala. I'm a very active contributor on the Yaoi wiki but I decided to take a quick peek on the Yuri wiki. 👋😁

I've noticed that pages of series, like a manga, manhwa, manhua, or an anime of some sort, does not have a present detailed infobox. Also that there are barely any pages with information of series and that there are a lot of character pages.🤔

Shouldn't this wiki also have pages for the series that the characters came from? 🤔🤔

I've made a slight change on one of the infoboxes and made it useful.

You will now be able to add details of our favorite series on it. 😲

Look, I'm a lesbian myself, but I've always known this wiki as "the wiki that thinks Suiseiseki and Souseiseki are definitely a thing" but like, can I ask why? I know this is probably like talking to nothing since the editors involved might not be around still. I personally don't see this, their character arcs revolve around the fact they can't function without the other and how much driving a wedge between them actually helps them, sibling relationship aside. It's a toxic, co-dependent relationship that, aside from an off-hand comment later on where a character pairs them up like - well - dolls, is never once shown as romantic.

It's not that I don't think they shouldn't be here, but that I think they're here for the wrong reason? They have yuri moments with other characters, none of which are listed here. For Suiseiseki there is Kiku who has sort of a romance arc with her. It's not the most amazing romance arc, but that's absolutely the intention. Souseiseki has several examples, the most obvious being Hana who immediately falls in love with her (the other example being a female character from a light novel who swoons hard over Souseiseki dressed as Joan of Arc). Both Kiku and Hana share a confession scene between Suiseiseki and Souseiseki respectively (from Floor 18 of Rozen Maiden 0 pages 20, 21, and 22).

I could make these tweaks to the pages, but i figured I would unload my beef with these pages first. I know things can be subjective and the content already on these pages might have to stay up anyway because someone out there sees them this way (been in the fandom for a decade, I blame the old anime for this ship's popularity), but before I edit I figured it might be seen as a bad faith edit to not talk about it beforehand.

"Miu Suigai" is not Miu's name. It's Mizutani. If you play with audio on you can literally hear Kanon call her Mizutani senpai. I wanted to edit it but I have no edit permissions on page. Please fix it.
