Ako Izumi is a main character in the yuri manga Futago Wazurai. The popular older twin sister of Komachi. Although their academic performance are very similar in the last exam, Ako had a slump suddenly sinking her results. Therefore, she has to take extra English lessons after classes with the assistant professor Maki Oosawa. When Maki asks her the reason why her results have dropped, she replies that she has a love problem. She has a laid-back, energetic and deep personality.
