Shūyu Kōkin/Meirin is a character in the series Koihime Musō. Go Kingdom's master strategist. A very serious woman who dedicates herself to carry out Sonsaku's goal of unifying China.

- her loyalty and affection for Sonsaku Hakufu/Sheren goes so far that she is willing to sacrifice everything else for Sonsaku's dream, even collaborating with Ukitsu and continuing to attacks on Hongō faction despite Sonken Chūbō and Sonshōkō being taken captive.
- She is a close confidant and lover to Sonsaku. Like in the VN, she understands her queen's ambition. She has sworn loyalty to her until their task is done.
- After she gets drunk with Kōgai Kōfuku/Sai, she asked her if drinking with her isn't exciting enough and unpleasant, and that if she'd prefer a younger girl before being embraced by her.
- The fight with Sonsaku was a fight over an alcoholic drink, since she acquired a rare expansive drink, from far away made with oranges, then Sonsaku Secretly drank it, that's what started all this, the reason she acquired it because she was willing to drink it with Sonsaku on that day for the anniversary of ten years of their first lovemaking, and so she made sure to get something really good, for her it was extremely important.
- After Sonsaku was about to say that it was the anniversary of their secret lovemaking she covered her mouth embarrassingly, calling her stupid, then asked her that they're better ways to say it, like pledgeding themselves to one another.

- When Sonsaku was depressingly blaming herself in the storage room, she was about to hug her until Sonsaku suddenly argues with her.
