- They were initially paired together by fans due to their extreme height difference and opposing personalities (Kirari is hyperactive and always eager to do idol work, while Anzu is lazy and hates any sort of work), but their friendship was eventually made canon by the producers, with Kirari adoring Anzu for her cuteness and gaining the habit of carrying her everywhere like a baby, while Anzu is shown to care a lot about her too, although in a Tsundere way.
- In the anime, they get a segment together in the variety show Totokira Academy. Although Anzu is bothered that it's just a gimmick (the staff thinking they look like a mother and daughter), Kirari is happy to finally be able to work with Anzu (as they're parts of different units in the anime).
- Chitose's unidolized card for the song Life is HaRMONY shows Kirari lifting Chitose off the ground, passing her arms under Chitose's chest.
