Hazuki Kagimura is the protagonist of the yuri series Märchen Mädchen. Hazuki is very imaginative and a dedicated fan of fantasy stories. Whenever Hazuki is upset, she immediately finds herself a story book to immerse herself in. One day after school, Hazuki comes across a cloaked figure and decides to follow her to a library. Hazuki is then transported to another world where she is told that she is a Mage, known as a Madchen in that world. She's painfully shy and socially inept who used to have no friends. Hazuki transfers to Kuzunoha Girl's Magic Academy to become a proper mage. Glass Heart is the magic possessed by Hazuki after she made a contract with the story Cinderella. It enables her to wish for anything within the bounds of magic but if she wishes for something out of it, she has to pay the price by becoming a glass.

- The reason she didn't care much about the Hexennacht/the magic tournament with the prize of wish granting: Because she believes her wish had already been granted, the wish of becoming closer with Shizuka.
- The reason she was fixated on making her Buchhuele: Because she wanted to go to the Hexennacht with Shizuka, and because she doesn't want to disappoint her, and getting disqualified from the magic academy, or being hated or abandoned by her.
- In the library, her bounding heart leaded her to the world book Shizuka was dwelling in.
- Shizuka have a soothing effect on her nerves, with her she doesn't feel the need to immerse herself in a book.

Hazuki is very imaginative and a dedicated fan of fantasy stories - she inherited these traits from her mother, who died when Hazuki was still little. Whenever Hazuki is upset, she immediately finds herself a story book to immerse herself in (a condition Hazuki refers to as "Story Syndrome"). One day after school, Hazuki comes across a cloaked figure and decides to follow her to a library. Hazuki is then transported to another world where she is told that she is a Mage, known as a Madchen in that world. Afterwards, Hazuki transfers to Kuzunoha Girl's Magic Academy to become a proper mage. As the story progresses, Hazuki quits being a Madchen and her Origin was sealed.
Original book of Cinderella[]
- Hazuki is contracted to the book of Cinderella at first, before revising the title as Cinderella Doesn't Look Back. It contains magical power and they called Mädchen girls that chosen by the Originals.

- Glass Heart: its a powerful magic that makes any wish came true.
- Only the user wish make it as a miracle.
- Wishing to bring back to life that which no longer exists, the backlash from altering the laws of reality can be heavily would be too much for one person to bear. It would shatter the user like a glass.
