Hina Nemoto is a secondary character from the non-yuri series No Matter How I Look at It, It’s You Guys' Fault I’m Not Popular!. She is Tomoko's classmate since the first year of high school, though they didn't start talking until the second year.

- In chapter 39, she says she's excited to be in the same class as Tomoko again (which surprises Tomoko, who thinks they've never spoken before). She also reveals she understood Tomoko's introduction in the first day of high school (where Tomoko jokingly grabbed a large sheet of paper only to make a short introduction).
- In chapter 97, she realizes Tomoko started talking about anime to try getting along with her, and later asks Tomoko not to talk about anime in public, but says it's fine if it's just the two of them.
- In chapter 106, she laughs after seeing Tomoko in make-up, doing a poor job of hiding it.
- In chapter 107, during physed class, she and Tomoko end up competing in the marathon, getting bothered at each other after assuming nobody was taking the race seriously, and also because of their clashing tastes in anime. They both get angry at the teacher for calling their competition trivial.
- In chapter 110, it is revealed that she and Tomoko took the high school entrance exams together and sit side-by-side. Tomoko did a fist bump with her but started talking to Hikari Itō before Nemoto could introduce herself.
- In chapter 117 it is revealed she remembers the moment well enough to mimic it, though Tomoko is unable to tell she was the girl on her side and is confused how she knows that.
- In chapter 122, she is shown to be bitter about Tomoko remembering Hikari but not her.
- Also in chapter 122, she is disappointed about Tomoko making a normal introduction, but after seeing her making a joke, she decides to reveal her dream of becoming a voice actress. After sitting down, she asks Tomoko to teach her how to be a loner if anything goes wrong, visibly shaking.
- She started calling Tomoko "Kuro-chan", and asked Tomoko to call her "Nemo".
- Initially, she had sort of a rivalry with Tomoko, partly due to different tastes in anime.
- Since she doesn't plan to go to the same college as Tomoko and the others, and didn't go to the summer school either, she wanted to make one last memory with Tomoko. She invites Tomoko to go to her to a doujin event, a voice acting school and a light novel school, while they shared an hotel room.
- While in the hotel, she hid while bathing, as she thought Tomoko would check her out while she bathed (which never happened). Later, while Tomoko herself was bathing, Nemo ended up checking on her and seeing her dyed pubic hair.
