Ikuyo Kita is a main character in the series Bocchi the Rock!. A first-year student of Shuka High School and is in charge of the guitar and vocals of the band, Kessoku Band. She is a cheerful, charismatic extrovert who has an active social life.

- She joined Kessoku Band to get closer to Ryō Yamada, whom she has a crush on.
- She initially left Kessoku Band due to her lack of guitar skills, Ryo would pray for her.
- When Kita was dragged by Hitori Gotō back to Starry, as she saw Yamada, she kneeled, begging for forgiveness, and said she would do anything to make out for being a runaway guitarist.
- Later in the same episode, it was revealed that she bought a six-stringed bass instead of a guitar. Ryo would sacrifice her finances just to buy off Kita's bass and lent Kita of Ryo's guitar.
- Hitori and Ryo are the one responsible for her playing guitar seriously. Hitori would train with her during school hours and in the studio. While Yamada, would often come to the studio to teach her guitar.
- Ikuyo were strumming her guitar excitedly when Ryo touched her fingers to look for blisters.
- Ikuyo became bocchified when Ryo teased Kita by calling her first name "Ikuyo".
- When she sees Ryo caressing Hitori, she becomes jealous and asks Ryo to do the same with her.
- In the recap movie part 2, there was a scene where Hitori had to take a retake so Hitori could not practice with the rest of the band. Ryo would help Ikuyo to train before the high school performance in the movie
- She submitted the form to participate in the school festival as a band, despite Hitori throwing it in the trash. She initially pretended she didn't realize Hitori didn't mean to submit it, but she later revealed to Hitori that she wanted the rest of the school to see how amazing she is.
- Kita and Hitori started to be close to each other as they are in the same school and during their second year, the same class.
- In Kirara karaoke outro by Kessoku Band, Ryō accidentally fell down to Ikuyo when the band member were hopping in a cramped room. Kita later passed out due to how close their faces were.
