Kagari Izuriha is one of the main characters in the anime and OVA Black Rock Shooter. She has an otherself called Chariot. Yomi's childhood friend. She was thought to be permanently bound to a wheelchair and thus did not attend school. The second episode reveals that she is not actually disabled, but she seems to have caused herself to believe that she is. She also has a fear of the outside world. She is also very fond of macaroons. She has a doll named Mary, which she sometimes talks to.

- Her obsession with Yomi is extremely possessive, and she forbids Yomi from making any friends, declaring that Yomi is "hers".
- She was unable to become friends with Mato and used to hate her because she befriended Yomi, like offering Mato what she calls the "dirty colors" of her macaroons, while she shares the macaroons of pink and red hues with Yomi. Mato tries to make friends with her, but she despises her, giving her an ugly doll as a present and, talking to her doll, Mary, telling Mato to "go home."
- When she and Yomi were small children, they were close friends, and Kagari was extremely devoted to Yomi. However, Yomi had to move away for a few years overseas due to her father's work, and when they were driving away, Kagari chased after her on foot, only to get run over by a car. Though doctors could not find anything physically wrong with her, Kagari still could not walk.
- Made Yomi Madeleines dessert as a gift.
- Said that she wants to be fed by Yomi.
- Prevented Yomi from going on her date with Mato to the Edo festival, then tried to feed her a pink-colored macaroon.
- Asked Yomi to strip before grappling the shape of a heart on her chest with a needle, but before that she hugged her and unbuttoned her shirt charmingly.
- One night, she had a secret conversation with Yomi in which she said that she belongs to her.
- Even Yomi's mother knows about her love for Yomi.
- Stood on her feet to fall from the stairs because Yomi was about to go to Mato who was at the door of their house.
- In the hospital where Kagari was taken after her fall from the stairs, and just after Yomi grabbed her with both of her hands promising to never leave her side, there was dubious sequence of events before Mato entered the room, Kagari was found suspiciously pleased before falling on her side on her bed, it's as though Yumi gave her something to satisfy her. Later on, Mato was heard congratulating Yomi that her feelings reached her.
- She have earned popularity among the girl students once she enrolled at the school.
- In a cloudy day, she held Mato's hand willingly to ask her to walk to school with her.
- After giving Yomi the Madeleines she made especially for her, she gave her a hint of a love confession while standing in a shy position according to her body language, she was grabbing her left arm with her right hand from behind her back, her cheeks were pink too.
Chariot[]
- After the spiders carried Dead Master away to a house in the sky, and Black★Rock Shooter chased after her, upon reaching for her, Chariot interrupts on Mary and attacks, that time she didn't stop ordering Black★Rock Shooter to go home.
- Fought Black Rock Shooter while Dead Master was tied with a chain connected to a large white heart. She shows some sadistic joy in brutally beating Black★Rock Shooter, which may reflect on Kagari's hatred for Mato in the real world.
- After Insane Black★Rock Shooter's defeat, she comes back to life, resulting in Kagari regaining the memories of her love for Yomi. She is seen with Dead Master, Black★Gold Saw, and the hooded figures as their worlds merges into one.
