Kanade Hayami is a character in Idolmaster Cinderella Girls of the series Idolmaster. She seems to be the character in the series most often paired with different same-gender characters, especially in duet songs.

- The three of them are constantly paired together, whether as two mothers (Fumika x Kanade) and their daughter, as a three-way relationship (Fumika x Kanade x Arisu), or as an age gap couple (Fumika x Arisu or Kanade x Arisu).
- The three of them appear together in Arisu's unidolized Only My Flag card.
- During the Cinderella Girls × Yuzu collab event, she and Arisu make a cover of Sayonara Bus.
- Kanade and Fumika are seen together in Fumika's unidolized card for the song Saite jewel.

- Kanade and Kaede became a somewhat popular couple among fans after the release of duet the song Pretty Liar, which, along with having Yuri undertones in the music video, is about being too dishonest to admitting your love for someone. They also appear to be flirting with each other in all versions of the song's card set.

- They have a duet song, Secret Daybreak, with lots of Yuri undertones.
- In a countdown art for the third anniversary of Starlight Stage, Minami and Kanade sit together near Chihiro Senkawa's knee while placing their hands atop each other's.
- In a countdown art for the sixth anniversary, they pose together in wedding dresses.

- In her idolized card for Aikurushii, she is seen together with Kanako Mimura. In the unidolized version, she's also seen with Mayu Sakuma.
- Kaede is also seen, along with Minami, in Kanade's fifth unidolized SSR.
- She is seen again with Mayu (and Karen Hōjō) in Mayu's unidolized card Captivating Showtime.
- In Chiyo Shirayuki's unidolized card for the song 'Kimi no Stage Ishou, Hontou wa..., she appears to be dancing with Kanade under the moonlight.
- In the idolized cards for the song Nightwear, Frederica, Shiki, Mika, Kanade and Shūko all have kiss marks on their bodies while Mika and Kanade hold hands, Mika strokes Shiki's hair, Shūko grabs Shiki's leg, Shiki reaches for Shūko's breast and Kanade and Frederica touch each other's face and hair.
