Miorine Rembran is the deuteragonist of Mobile Suit Gundam - the Witch from Mercury. Her life is forever changed after meeting the new transfer student, Suletta Mercury. Their meeting causes a chain of events in the first episode which ends up with the two of them accidentally becoming engaged.

- Episode 01
- Despite originally being angry with Suletta for ruining her escape attempt, she didn't hesitate to protect Suletta from being crushed by Guel's recklessness.
- While Miorine refuses to let Suletta into her greenhouse, she does give Suletta a tomato when she hears that the girl is hungry.
- Miorine is rather stunned when Suletta slaps Guel's butt to get him to stop trashing her greenhouse.
- For a second, Miorine's hand can be seen on Suletta's chest.
- After Suletta defeats Guel, Miorine crowns Suletta as the new holder and as her new fiancé much to Suletta's confusion.

- Miorine outright tells Suletta that she doesn't plan on forcing Suletta to marry her, and she plans on escaping to Earth.
- Miorine threatens Guel's group that she'll kill them if they mess with her tomatoes, the same tomatoes she willingly gave Suletta in the previous episode.
- Miorine sacrificed her chance to escape to Earth in order confront her father and protect Suletta.
- She repeats the survival mantra that Suletta taught her before challenging her father to a duel. The condition she makes is that her father has to recognize Suletta as her fiancé if they win.

- Miorine calls Suletta 'sex-crazed' after hearing Suletta wished to go on dates with people.
- Miorine allows Suletta into her greenhouse.
- Miorine shows small displays of jealousy when Elan speaks with Suletta and exchanges contact information with her. Miorine makes it a point to register her contact information with Suletta as well.
- While Miorine is happy that the two of them managed to defeat her father, via defeating his Champion, she makes it clear that she is happy that Suletta will not be expelled.
- Episode 04
- Miorine changes Suletta's outfit to that of the Holder to indicate that Suletta is her 'bridegroom'.
- Miorine isn't the least bit bothered when Suletta hides behind her when Guel enters the classroom.
- She reads textbooks, so she can act as Suletta's spotter and mechanic much to Suletta's surprise.
- It is implied that Miorine gave Suletta permission to sleep in her bed as she appears to notice Suletta is awake.
- Miorine listens to Suletta when Suletta is having a breakdown.
- Episode 05
- She attempts to stop Suletta from meeting up with Elan and tells her not to go all 'Romeo and Juliet' on her.
- Episode 06
- Miorine describes herself as being an 'understanding bride' who can tolerate a minor amount of 'two timing' from Suletta as she attempts to help Elan.
- Episode 07
- Miorine lends Suletta a dress to the incubation party. When Suletta mentions the dress is a little tight around the bust, she seems a little frustrated at the implications. She even slaps Suletta's back to get her to stand up straight.
- She openly refers to herself as Suletta's bride in front of a crowd of people when asked why she would protect her.
- Episode 08
- She smiles when Suletta tells her that setting up her company has been a lot of fun.
- Episode 09
- Miorine continues to refuse any deal Shaddiq offers her.
- Miorine shows a great deal of concern for Suletta when it seems as if Suletta is talking to herself.
- Episode 10
- When Feng Jun jokingly offered Miorine a chance to escape to Earth, Miorine happily tells her that she'll pass. It is later confirmed that Miorine no longer desires to go to Earth because of Suletta.
- In the end card illustration, it depicts Miorine using mech arms to push Elan and Guel away from herself and Suletta.
- Episode 11
- Miorine is the first to notice Suletta is missing and goes looking for her only to overhear her conversation with her mother to find out that Suletta is depressed and attempts to confront her.
- After managing to use her 'cunning' to catch Suletta, she hugs Suletta tightly while trying to force her to come clean with her problems.
Second Season[]
- Episode 12
- In a scene mirroring their first meeting, Miorine holds an unconscious Suletta, fearing Suletta has died from Permet overuse, and hits Suletta's helmet while crying. When Suletta finally responds, Miorine says she should have answered sooner, still crying but now also smiling.
- In the epilogue, although it is not explicitly stated they married, Miorine and Suletta are wearing rings and are implied to be living together. Ericht also calls herself Miorine's sister-in-law.
- Miorine is constantly holding onto Suletta’s arm and shown to be openly affectionate with each other.
General[]
- The opening begins with Suletta and Miorine contacting each other.
- In the first opening theme, Miorine looks rather depressed besides the moment when she is holding hands with Suletta and running with her.
- During the ending theme begins with Miorine offering her hand to help Suletta stand up.
- At the end of the ending theme, Suletta accidentally ends up on top of Miorine, and Miorine smiles and laughs.
- The development of her relationship with Suletta is that a 'Defrosting Ice Queen' dynamic with her developing a more genuine bond with her over time.
- While she is a perpetual frowner, she generally seems to smile when it directly or indirectly involves Suletta.
- Despite claiming that she is more or less is using Suletta to act as a shield from others that wish to take advantage of her, she has gone out of her way multiple times to protect Suletta.
- After the end of the anime, the staff released an official artbook, which includes images of Miorine and Suletta being physically intimate.
Trivia[]
- In Episode 3, Miorine has confirmed that she is sixteen years old, and under current circumstances she would be expected to get married at seventeen to whoever the 'Holder' is, which is currently Suletta Mercury.
- Miorine has been compared to Weiss from the web show, RWBY, and some have even nicknamed her 'Space Weiss'.
- Miorine also has a few things in common with Anthy Himemiya from Shoujo Kakumei Utena as they both are skilled at gardening and the top duelist is her fiancé regardless of whether the person is male or female.
- On July 26th, 2023, the printed version of an interview for the Gundam-focused "Gundam Ace" magazine, Suletta's voice actress Kana Ichinose confirms they are married at this point. However, on July 28th, 2023, the digital version of the magazine excludes that bit from the interview, causing backlash with both Japanese and Western fans.
- Prior to the article censorship, the Western official social media for Gundam was more explicit with confirming Suletta and Miorine's relationship while Japanese social media was more vague which led to confusion with Japanese fans.
- The anime director later re-confirmed Suletta and Miorine's status as a married couple.
- Miorine's Japanese voice actress has taken photos hugging a cardboard cutout of Suletta.
